Clare is an experienced Business Psychologist. Clare works closely with clients to develop bespoke training and interventions that enable positive change. Clare has particular experience and interest in the areas of Diversity & Inclusion; Inclusive Leadership Programmes, Strategic Diversity Audits, Unconscious Bias, Supporting Parental Transition and Returnships.


Clare leads SEVEN’s Diversity & Inclusion strategy. She supports organisations in adapting a strategic and  tailored approach to Diversity & inclusion.  She is passionate about ensuring Inclusion, moving beyond simple representation of Diversity. Clare uses several areas of psychology, such as neuropsychology and cognitive psychology, to support her research and consultancy work.


Before becoming a psychologist, Clare worked for over 20 years in senior roles in the financial services sector. She now combines her business experience with psychological theory to better understand and support the challenges faced by organisations.


People describe Clare as engaging, passionate and professional. Based on her diverse experience, Clare readily adapts her style and knowledge to suit the client’s context. Her strengths lie in how she marries her business experience with academic evidence and best practice.


Clare holds an MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology and a BA in Psychology. She is also a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychology Society (BPS) and the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Professional Development (CIPD).

Clare regularly speaks at conferences and corporate events and is in demand for her ability to convey knowledge and theory in an easy, relaxed style.

Clare is regularly asked to speak on the topic of ‘Age & Generational Diversity’. She has worked with the “Retirement Planning Council” on their offering in this space, redesigning their approach and supporting them in embedding the learning.

Clare is also a lecturer on MBA programmes at the Irish Management Institute (IMI). She is passionate about helping others better understand the science of people behave at work.

Clare was the previous Chair for the Division of Work and Organisational Psychology in the Psychological Society of Ireland. Clare ensures her knowledge and work as a practitioner is up to date and of the highest standard through her CPD requirements as a chartered psychologist. Also she believes strongly in collaboration and shared learning with her personal and professional networks and is active in learning about trends and applications of organisational behaviour.

After living in Dublin for 15 years Clare returned to live back in her home city of Manchester to be near her family. She now splits her time between both cities and loves living and working between both.
